For the Bluesky bridge, discoverable opt in instead of opt out is definitely something I could have (should have) figured out before the announcement. Sorry. Lesson learned.

If youβve been following the Bridgy and Mastodon drama, consider that many Mastodon users donβt want a bridge that allows Bluesky to federate with Mastodon, but they do want Bluesky to support ActivityPub so Bluesky canβ¦ also federate with Mastodon. π
